In-person workshops and one-to-one sessions in Leeds, UK.

Authenticity · Curiosity · Spontaneity · Joy · Self-discovery through experience

Come as you are. Get curious about what comes up. Give it space to move.

Welcome to a space where you can dance with everything that is within you and enjoy the process of discovering yourself.

You may know a lot about yourself and still be curious about what it feels like to experience greater freedom, authenticity, and joy. Chakradance offers you space to explore through experience: What might you discover about yourself when you move beyond what you already know? How do you feel when you allow yourself to move beyond familiar ways of being?

Here, we invite into movement whatever arises within us: feelings, conflicting desires, and impulses we might usually hold back. It’s about connecting with whatever arises in the moment, with curiosity, openness, and lightness. We give them space in the body, in the dance, in the flow. Follow what moves you and discover where it takes you.

What becomes possible when you allow yourself to move freely and be yourself?

What might you discover about yourself through movement?

I create a space where deep self-connection can coexist with spontaneity, laughter, tears, and a little playfulness. You might experience something meaningful, see yourself from a different perspective, feel the pleasure of moving, and simply enjoy being together and within yourself.

Hello! I'm Magda.

I invite you to explore the deeper layers of yourself.

The body, spontaneous movement and mindfulness are part of my own journey of self-discovery. They help me notice what I feel, move beyond established ideas about myself and experience the present moment more fully.

This personal practice is the foundation of what I share with others.

I am a certified Chakradance Facilitator and a practitioner of Tantra. I lead workshops and one-to-one sessions in Leeds, bringing together music, movement and mindful presence.

I value authenticity and curiosity about each person: what they experience, what moves them and what they discover when they give themselves space.

I am also on my own journey. I am developing my practice through the Mentor School and preparing for postgraduate studies in Dance Movement Psychotherapy. I am developing my own approach to facilitating movement experiences, bringing together self-exploration, spontaneity and the joy of being yourself.

I admire those moments when a spontaneous gesture, laughter or a new perspective emerges around something that once seemed familiar. Deep experiences and playfulness can meet in a single session.
I create a space where you can feel yourself and express what is alive within you.
I will accompany you with care and an invitation that is especially close to my heart:
Come and move with what you carry within you.

Who is it for?

You can start wherever you are, with whatever you are feeling. Come as you are.

There is no need to prepare. There is no right or wrong way to feel or move. Simply arrive as you are and see what unfolds. Music, guidance and spontaneous movement offer space to connect with your body, explore it with curiosity and find your own way of expressing it.

What can you invite into the dance?

  • Navigating change — moving to a new place, the end of a relationship or the beginning of a new chapter.
  • Rediscovering your desires — when life’s responsibilities leave little room to feel what you truly want.
  • Difficulty setting boundaries — when you find yourself saying yes when you really want to say no, or holding back from expressing what you truly feel.
  • Connecting with your feelings — a desire for closeness, sadness after a breakup, gratitude or feelings that are difficult to name.
  • Words that remain unspoken — your needs, things left unsaid and the desire to express yourself more authentically.
  • Conflicting desires — when different parts of you want different things and you need space to listen to each of them.
  • Your own path — when familiar answers no longer feel sufficient and you want to explore what matters to you now.
  • A desire to express your joy and freedom— excitement, a creative impulse, a desire to play and a feeling of wanting to expand.

How would you like to meet?

We can dance together in a group or create a space just for you.

Group Chakradance workshops

A shared dance floor, your own journey.

We come together as a group and move through a guided Chakradance experience.

You move in your own way and at your own pace. You can draw inspiration from the presence of others while staying connected to yourself. No previous dance experience or knowledge of steps is needed.

This may be for you if you want to connect with others, experience the atmosphere of dancing together and explore yourself in a space shared with other people. You can arrive with a personal intention or simply with curiosity and a desire to move.

At the end, there is time to settle, reflect and share your experience if you wish.

One-to-one Chakradance sessions

An intimate space just for you.

We meet one-to-one. Using the Chakradance approach, I give you my full attention and accompany you throughout your experience.

You might choose this option if being in a group makes you feel self-conscious, compare yourself with others or find it difficult to express your emotions freely. An individual session may also appeal to you if you are bringing a personal subject and would value privacy, particularly if:

  • You keep returning to the same situation in your thoughts and want to explore it from a different perspective.
  • You are facing a change or decision and want to reconnect with what you truly desire.
  • Different parts of you seem to want different things.
  • You feel tense, lost or disconnected from your body.
  • You find it difficult to put your experience into words but want to give it space.

Before we begin, there is time to talk about what you are bringing to the session. I then guide you through the Chakradance experience using music, with mindful attention to the body and space for your spontaneous movement.

Sessions take place in person at a studio in Leeds and are available in Polish or English.

Get in touch and we can talk about your needs, what the session involves and available dates.

Be present with whatever you’re feeling. Stay open to whatever comes, without expecting anything.

About Chakradance

Rediscover yourself, be present in the moment, and allow the unexpected to unfold.

Chakradance is a journey in which music, the body and imagination guide you towards a deeper encounter with yourself. The method was created by Natalie Southgate, drawing on dance, Jungian psychology and the chakra system. Its foundations include spontaneous movement, guided visualisation and meditation.

For me, Chakradance is an invitation to feel what is alive within you right now. To give it space and discover how it wants to move. Sometimes something needs awakening, sometimes soothing, and sometimes you may discover that you simply want to be with it.

We sit together in an opening circle. There is a moment to welcome one another, become familiar with the space and turn our attention towards what we have brought with us. A short meditation helps us arrive more fully in the present moment.

We dance in subdued lighting, preferably barefoot. You can choose to wear an eye mask if it helps you turn your attention inward and become less concerned with how you look while moving.

First, we reconnect with the body. We notice our body, and breath, gradually bringing awareness to different parts of the body.

How do you feel within yourself today? What brought this to your attention?

From this initial encounter, your dance begins to emerge.

The chakras originate in yogic traditions, where they are described as energy centres. In Chakradance, we use them as a map of different areas of awareness and human experience. We explore each area through music, imagination and our own movement.

We begin at the root. With our feet on the ground, a sense of support, stability and belonging. You can explore what it feels like to say: I am here. I have a place in the world.

At the sacral chakra, we welcome feelings, pleasure and creative flow. We notice what brings us joy, what makes us feel alive and what movement emerges when we allow ourselves more freedom.

At the solar plexus, we explore personal strength, agency and boundaries. You can connect with your impulse to act, your own yes and your own no.

In the space of the heart, there is room for closeness, tenderness and what you experience in relationships. For the feelings you bring and the ways you wish to express them.

Through the throat chakra, we explore expression. It is an invitation to give form to what is yours, whether through a gesture, a breath or a movement.

At the third eye, we turn our attention towards intuition and imagination. Images, memories, dreams or a new perspective on something familiar may emerge.

As we reach the crown, we open a space for spirituality, meaning and a sense of connection. There is also a moment to acknowledge the journey we have travelled.

You can move through this journey with a personal intention and notice how it unfolds through the different movement. You can allow feelings, images and impulses to flow through movement. Each person will discover something different that needs space.

Each chakra has its own musical compositions, created especially for Chakradance. Natalie Southgate co-created this music with Dale Nougher. The rhythms and sounds shape the atmosphere of each dance, and the music also incorporates the sounds of crystal singing bowls.

Throughout the session, I use words and imagery to guide you through each chakra. I invite you to feel while you discover your own response.

Your movements may become more expansive, gentle, or pause for a moment. You can follow it at your own pace.

We return to the circle. If you wish, you can share your experience. You can also remain in silence and just be with your experience.

We close the session with meditation and a moment to arrive, settle, and thank ourselves for the journey.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. You do not need to know any steps or have previous experience. I will invite you to notice your body, and you can explore whatever movement comes naturally. Perhaps, at first, only your hands or feet will move. That is your dance, too.

You can come with curiosity and explore the experience for yourself. I will introduce you to the different areas of this map through music, words and imagery.

You can notice what moves you, what you feel in your body and what movements emerge. Something may resonate with you immediately, while something else may remain a question. There is room for both.

I will offer you this option. Closing your eyes or wearing an eye mask may help you turn your attention inward and become less concerned.

You can choose what feels comfortable. You may keep your eyes open, remove your eye mask at any time and move in a way that allows you to remain aware of your surroundings.

You can stop whenever you need to. Sit down, open your eyes, feel your feet on the floor and look around you. Take as much time as you need. You can also reach out to me.

The invitation to dance always leaves room for your boundaries. Sometimes we need movement; at other times, we need to be still and simply be with ourselves. If you wish to return to the dance, you can do so gently and at your own pace.

If you feel self-conscious, you can give yourself a moment. We dance in subdued lighting, and everyone is on their own journey. You can begin with a small gesture and see what happens next.

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely and feel good in your body. A dress is also fine, as long as it allows you to dance without getting under your feet. We usually dance barefoot. Please bring some water.

You can arrive with an intention, a question or simply a desire to explore. At the beginning, we will take a moment to reconnect with the body and notice what we are bringing into the space today.
